Myotherapy is more than feeling invigorated and having
a general increase in energy. It is aimed to isolate
specific problem areas and fixes it, something that your
typical massage therapist is not trained to do.
Myotherapy is a muscle treatment and relaxation therapy
that results in the reduction of tension; with the
direct effect of releasing muscle spasms, improving
circulation and bringing about proper functions and a
healthy tone to ailing muscles.
Oxygenization and nutrition
are enhanced and proper function is therefore restored.
At Intercare, we take our Myotherapy seriously, So
should you. Be it neck pain, low back pain, arm pain,
etc. Because having a Myotherapy treatment is more
effective than any spa treatment.

Myotherapy is a
form of deep massage used to reduce tension and
pain originating at specific points in the body.
Those points, called trigger points, form when
muscle is damaged, such as may happen at birth,
during athletic exertion, or in an accident.
Trigger points can cause muscle spasms that lead
to pain elsewhere in the body.
Myotherapy relaxes
muscle spasms, improves circulation, and
alleviates pain. To defuse "trigger points,"
pressure is applied to the muscle for several
seconds by means of fingers, knuckles and
elbows. Intercare's professional myotherapists
erase the spasm by pressing on the appropriate
trigger points and then helping the affected
muscle return to its normal resting and relaxed
condition with special exercises designed for
each individual problem.
