View on Youtube: What is Chiropractic

Martin G. Camara, D.C., Intercare’s Clinic Director, explains what Chiropractic is in an episode of “Loren: Kabalikat Natin”

Basic Exercises

Bridging

Lie on your back and place a stool under the calves.
Slowly raise your hips.

Prone on elbows

Lie on your stomach on a mat and lean on your elbows.

Prone extension

With hands on the side, raise your head and shoulders off the mat as high as comfortable as possible. Then slowly lower the head and shoulders.

Anterior Hip Stretch

In tall kneeling position, reach for your heel by bending backward.

Trunk Lateral/Side Stretch

Kneel facing a wall. Raise arms with palms against the wall then slowly walk your hands to the left/right side until a comfortable stretch is felt.

Straight Leg Raise

Lie on your back. Raise one leg. Keep other leg straight (or bent, if too difficult).

Posterior Pelvic Tilt

Push the small of your back into the floor by pulling the lower abdominal muscles up and in.

Abdominal Crunches

Lie on your back with knees bent and feet on the floor. Slowly raise your head and shoulders off the floor.

Hamstring Stretch

Wrap a towel around the calf. Slowly pull the towel towards trunk while keeping the knee extended and opposite leg straight.

Posterior Hip Stretch

Lie on your back with one foot on top of opposite knee. Pull the bottom leg towards chest.

Supine Trunk Rotation

In hook lying position, stretch both arms outward. Rotate knees towards left/right side.
